Here's exactly what a team workspace adds to your free personal account, what it costs, and what happens at every step. Take your time, there's no countdown on this page.

What you have, and what you'd add.

Everything on the left is free and stays free, and everything on the right comes with the £1.99.

What it costs for three team sizes.

It's simply £1.99 times the number of people, once a month, with nothing else added to the bill.

If you're comparing, Trello's entry paid plan is $6 a seat and Asana's is $10.99 (their published prices), and Emilo's price is in pounds.

What happens, step by step.

So you'll always know what's coming next.

  1. Today: create the workspace

Give it a name, pick how many seats you need and add a card. Nothing is charged yet, and your personal list stays just as it is, right beside the new workspace in the switcher.

  2. Day 1 to 14: the trial

Invite people by email, hand out tasks and enjoy the shared calendar. Everything in the right-hand column above is switched on from the very first minute.

  3. Day 11 and day 13: a reminder

We'll send you an email to say the trial ends on day 14 and what the first charge will be, so you can cancel first if it isn't quite right for you.

  4. Day 14: the first charge

You'll be charged £1.99 for each seat for the month ahead, and an invoice will appear in Billing.

  5. Any day after: change or cancel

Add or remove seats, pause for a month or three, or cancel. You can do it all from Billing, with nobody to call.

The questions people ask first.

Here are the friendly, honest answers.

  • What happens on day 14?

Your trial ends and the card you added at set-up is charged £1.99 for each seat for the month ahead. We'll email you three days before and again one day before, so it's never a surprise, and if you cancel before day 14 nothing is charged at all.

  • How do I cancel?

You can cancel from Billing in the app whenever you like. Your workspace stays open until the end of the period you've paid for, and then it becomes read-only. You can still export your data, and your personal list isn't affected.

  • What if the team grows or shrinks?

Just change the number of seats from Billing. The difference is prorated on the subscription you already have, up or down, and your next invoice shows it. It's always the same subscription, simply adjusted, so you'll never end up with a second one.

  • Does my personal list change?

Not at all. The team workspace sits right next to it in the same app, with a switcher at the top, and your own list stays free and private.

Ready when you are.

If you're signed in, you can create a team workspace from inside the app. If you're not, start a free personal account first and bring your team along whenever you're ready.
